Starting Point
PCR experiments (polymerase chain reaction) are generally based on small amounts of valuable samples and should be carried out in a defined and a purified environment devoid of foreign DNA. The objective of the PCR workstation is to create such a purified working environment to enable the laboratory to operate at an error-free level.

The Result
Objectives in the development were a rugged, yet elegant design and high user-friendliness. The UV- and white-light lamps are technology-related expendable parts and can be easily exchanged by the customer. The modern capacitive touch panel allows intuitive operation. A timer function makes an automatic decontamination of the work area before starting work possible.

We deliver the PCR work station fully assembled or as an easy DIY kit which can be set-up by the customers.

Our PCR work stations are sold through VWR as part of the VWR collection instruments.
